Preparing the garden for spring is important for a successful start to the new growing season. After many months of winter dormancy, your garden needs a little care and attention to bloom beautifully again. Here are some tips on how to properly prepare your garden for the spring and summer months.

1. Clear the garden of branches and leaves
   After winter, the garden is full of branches and leaves. These debris can hinder plant growth, so it’s important to remove them thoroughly. If your garden is large, a tree surgeon or gardeners may help.

2. Check the condition of the lawn
   Winter can cause significant damage to the lawn. If it’s covered in moss, it’s time for spring treatment. The most important task is dethatching, which removes moss and thins out the lawn. If your lawn is in good condition, you can still treat it with special spring fertilizers.

3. Prune bushes and trees
   Some bushes and trees need pruning to improve their growth capacity and health. It’s recommended to remove all dry and damaged branches.
