Brake Bleeding Kit MECHANIC BRAKE BLEEDING SET 8 SIXTOL
The practical MECHANIC BRAKE BLEEDING SET 8 allows you to perform brake fluid changes even at home. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air, which lowers its boiling point and negatively affects its performance. Over time, as the fluid’s boiling point decreases (new fluid should have a boiling point over 230°C), prolonged braking can create high temperatures, and any water content in the fluid will vaporize. This vapor can compress, reducing the effectiveness of the brake fluid. It’s recommended to replace brake fluid every 1-3 years or based on measured temperatures: 181°C or higher – no replacement needed, 171°C to 180°C – replacement recommended, 170°C or lower – replacement necessary!
Main advantages:- High-quality material
- Time and money-saving
Usage:- 1. Remove the wheel where you plan to bleed the brakes.
- 2. Open the brake fluid reservoir and top up if necessary.
- 3. Start with the wheel farthest from the brake fluid reservoir (typically the rear right) and work towards the nearest one (front left).
- 4. Have an assistant slowly press and hold the brake pedal inside the vehicle.
- At this point, loosen the screw or valve on the brake caliper or cylinder’s bleeder valve.
- 5. Once the brake fluid flows without air bubbles, tighten the screw or valve and release the pedal.
- 6. Repeat the process until you’re sure all air has been removed. Ensure the fluid level in the reservoir remains steady.
- 7. After bleeding the brakes, test the brake pedal and check for any braking issues. A test drive may be conducted in a safe area.
