This refractometer allows for the determination of the physical properties of fluids by measuring the refractive index. The refractometer is specifically designed to measure the concentration of the AdBlue additive.

Measurement Capabilities:

• AdBlue concentration range: 0 - 40%

Measurement Instructions:

• 1. Use the pipette to collect a small amount of fluid.
• 2. Lift the cover plate and apply 2-3 drops of fluid onto the device’s prism.
• 3. Close the cover plate back, ensuring the liquid spreads evenly without bubbles across the prism’s surface.
• 4. After 30 seconds, direct the cover plate towards a light source and look into the eyepiece.
• 5. Focus the image using the focus ring and read the transition from light to dark on the corresponding scale.
