Refractometer for Measuring Automotive Operating Fluids, SIXTOL
The refractometer is a device used to
determine the physical properties of a fluid by measuring the refractive index. It is ideal for checking the
battery charge level, freezing point of coolant based on propylene glycol or ethylene glycol, and freezing point of windshield washer fluid. The product is delivered
fully assembled and requires no further setup.
Main Advantages:- Compact size
- No battery or assembly required
- High operational reliability and long lifespan
- Small margin of error and high measurement accuracy
- Light and durable aluminum alloy body
- Virtually maintenance-free
- Soft rubber protective cover
Measurement Capabilities:- Battery charge level
- Coolant freezing point
- Windshield washer fluid freezing point
- Includes pipette and cleaning cloth
How to Use:- 1. Use the pipette to take a small sample of the liquid.
- 2. Lift the cover plate and place 2-3 drops of liquid on the refractor prism.
- 3. Lower the cover plate so the liquid spreads evenly without bubbles on the prism surface.
- 4. After 30 seconds, direct the refractometer toward a light source and look through the eyepiece.
- 5. Focus the image using the focusing ring and read the measurement where light and shadow meet on the scale.
Package Contents:- 1x Automotive Fluid Refractometer
- 1x Durable plastic case
- 1x Sample pipette
- 1x Calibration screwdriver
- 1x Anti-static cleaning cloth for the prism
Note: Special calibration fluid is not included.
