Refractometer for Measuring Wort / Brewery Saccharometer AT 32 SIXTOL
A high-quality refractometer/brix meter with
automatic temperature compensation designed primarily
for measuring sugar content and specific gravity in brewing wort or fruit mashes. This refractometer measures the
refractive index of light to determine the composition of liquid mixtures. It is used in brewing to measure
sugar concentration in wort within a range of 0 to 32% Brix and also specific
gravity of the wort (1.000 to 1.120 SG wort). Additionally, it measures the sugar content in fruit mashes, juices, etc. ATC ensures no calibration is needed between 0°C and 30°C.
Main Advantages:- Compact size
- No batteries required
- Durable, lightweight aluminum alloy body
- Soft rubber cover for comfort
- Measures 0 to 32% Brix
- High reliability and precision
- Virtually maintenance-free
How to Use:- Apply 2-3 drops of liquid to the slanted prism, close the cover, and look through the eyepiece at a light source. Focus if necessary, and read the sugar content and specific gravity values on the scale.
What is the Brix Scale:- The Brix scale measures the sugar concentration (primarily sucrose) in liquids such as fruits, juices, or wort. 1% Brix equals 1 gram of sucrose in 100 g of solution.
Package Contents:- 1x Refractometer
- 1x Durable plastic case
- 1x Calibration screwdriver
- 1x Sample pipette
- 1x Cleaning cloth
Note: Special calibration fluid is not included.
Technical Specifications:- Wort sugar concentration - Range: 0-32% Brix, Accuracy: +/- 0.2%
